Coaches

Avi Dubnov:

Avi Dubnov is the Director of Athletics and Head Coach of the Varsity Soccer team at Miss Porter’s School. The 2019/20 season was the most successful athletic season in Miss Porter's history as the school won four Founders League Championships and one New England Championship.  

Avi joined the Miss Porter's community in 2013 as the head coach of the Varsity Soccer team, and the program has since won the Founders League four times (2016, 2018, 2019 & 2021), the WWNEPSSA Class B (2016 & 2018), and Class A (2019) regular-season titles. On two occasions, the program finished #1 out of 47 WWNEPSSA schools. In Avi's time with the program, he has been awarded the WWNEPSSA Coach of the Year and the NSCAA Coach of the year. In nine seasons the school has celebrated 3 All-Americans, 6 All-New England, and 21 All-State player awards. In the 2023 season, the Varsity Soccer program will have 7 Division 1 and, three Division 3 student-athletes playing collegiate soccer.

Previously, Avi has been a staff member for the girl's US Youth Soccer National training centers, a Head Coach of the FSA FC United ECNL team, the CT Olympic Development Program, Region 1 coach and part of the staff to teach USSF Licenses to coaches in New England. Avi has also been an assistant coach for the Men's Soccer team at Trinity College and the Men's Soccer team at Central Connecticut State University. Avi currently serves as the President of WWNEPSSA girls soccer coaching association. Avi holds his USSF National 'A' License and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a Masters of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford.

Kelly Wosleger:

Coach Kelly Wosleger has served as Westminster School’s head coach of Varsity Girls’ Soccer since 2017. Previously, Coach Wosleger was an assistant coach at Princeton University for two years where she helped the program to an Ivy League Championship and to the second round of the NCAA tournament in her first year. The program had an overall record of 24-8-4 in her two years there. Before working at Princeton, coach Wosleger was an assistant coach for three years at her alma mater, Fairfield University, where the team held an overall record of 37-17-7. As a player at Fairfield, she was the starting goalkeeper for four years and team captain for two years. She holds several school records but is most proud of her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and MBA from the university.

Wosleger holds an USSF D License and NSCAA National Diploma. She currently coaches for the Connecticut Football Club where she played growing up. At Westminster, she is the Dean of the class of 2025, teaches math, and is the program director of Horizons at Westminster.

She was named the 2021 CT Prep Coach of the Year and most recently, the team was the #3 Seed in the Class A New England Tournament and made it to the Semi-Finals of the tournament.

Erin Fisher:

Erin is an experienced educator and a master coach; she currently serves as Director of Wellbeing, instructor of Wellbeing elective courses, program director for QUEST, and Head Coach of the Girls’ Varsity Soccer team at Pomfret School. Erin has also been Director of Student Growth and was the founding Director of Pomfret’s Collaborative Learning Center. Erin received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her Master’s degree from Columbia University. She played collegiate soccer at Cornell where she was Captain, All-Ivy, Academic All-Ivy, and a CoSIDA Academic All-American. Her Pomfret girls' soccer team won the WWNEPSSA title in 2017 and 2009 and were Finalists in the NEPSAC Class B Championship in both 2017 and 2009. Erin was selected as the Prep Coach of the Year by the CGSCA in 2017 and 2009 and was named Regional Prep COY in 2017. She is on the executive board for the CGSCA, NEPSAC, and WWNEPSSA girls’ soccer coaching associations and has extensive experience coaching club soccer in the ECNL for FSA FC. 


Christian Benjamin:

Christian Benjamin has 20+ years of Division I, II, and III collegiate coaching experience. Christian is the creator and owner of Keeperstop.com. Keeperstop educates millions of goalkeepers, coaches, and families worldwide on a yearly basis. Keeperstop.com trains, consults, and offers placement assistance with goalkeepers at all levels of college soccer. Christian is a USSF and USC licensed coach with a passion for game-realistic goalkeeper education. Christian is a featured youth clinician for travel and coaching organizations.
